Tranquilo at Bodega

Bodega Ridge is excited to announce the opening of Tranquilo, an exciting Baja-inspired pop up featuring local ingredients and flavours from all over the Pacific Coast.

We’ve been wanting to try opening a restaurant concept for years and with this season turned upside down by that damn virus, we decided to switch from hosting our large group events to a chilled out dining spot. Chef Elmark Andres has a love for big flavours, enriched with his time at Bao Bei & the Dirty Apron and he’s excited to work with the ingredients from our kitchen garden, and the farms of Galiano and the Cowichan Valley.

With our huge patio and large interior it as been easy for us to adhere to BC’s phase two reopening protocols and keep everyone’s heath, safety and social distancing concerns at bay.

June the 19th will kick off our soft opening with a limited menu, a disproportionately large craft beer menu, Margaritas and a BC wine list. Take out will be available in addition to the option of eating in one of our cabins at either the Ridge or Cove Property.

Breakfast will be available with a lengthy break before happy hour and dinner.

We invite all our friends, family and fellow islanders to Join us on Friday, June 19 to celebrate our opening. Who knows, if this summer is as fun as we anticipate, this might develop into more of a long term project!
