Kayaking
Our serene shoreline is a haven for marine life and water lovers and Gulf Island Kayaking is the best way to enjoy it. The paddle to the provincial park on Wallace Island is a guest favourite. For larger groups, Ben and his son Chessi at Gulf Island Kayaking will even bring the kayaks to you.
Fishing
The waters around Galiano are plentiful, and our guests have caught everything from crab to cod.
Beaches
Three beaches lie within a kilometre of the resort including Dionisio Point Provincial Park, or what locals call "Coon Bay". Bring your camera -in addition to the sandy beach and tidal pools, you'll find strange and beautiful sandstone formations.
Golf
Galiano features a unique and challenging 9 hole Golf Course just a 20 minute drive from Bodega.
Hiking
A number of hikes on Galiano offer challenging terrain and spectacular views. The famous Bodega Ridge is right at our doorstep, and we can direct you to several others.
Cycling
If you're up for a challenge, road and mountain biking on hilly Galiano will reward you with fantastic views and fun descents. Ask Jesse, our resident cyclist, for the best routes.
