Jesse Keefer, Proprietor
Prior to his involvement in Bodega Ridge, Jesse was a competitive cyclist competing in elite level races in both mountain and road biking. Jesse is one of the few athletes to earn medals in both road and mountain biking at the Canadian National Championships and won over 40 races in a career that spanned over 10 years, when he wasn't injured, his bike wasn't broken or he was upside down in a mud puddle.
Jesse has been on Galiano for 6 years and has been visiting since he was a child. Please be sure to track him down and ask him where all the best areas are for outdoor fun on the island.
Travel Directions
Once you are on the island:From Ferry Terminal in Sturdies Bay travel straight off the ferry onto Sturdies Bay Rd. Follow Sturdies Bay Road until the Hummingbird Pub, where you will take a right turn on Porlier Pass Road. Proceed for approximately 20 minutes on Porlier Pass Road until you see a large standing stone and our sign on the road. Take a right turn immediately after on to Cook Road. Take the first right turn on to Manastee Road where you will see our gate and a large Bodega Resort sign. Follow straight to our lodge, the large green building. Local tip, only take right turns!

Depart on the Gulf Islands ferry from the Tswwassen Ferry Terminal, 30km south of Vancouver. If leaving from the City of Vancouver, please take into consideration the traffic through the Massey Tunnel.

Depart on the Gulf Islands ferry from the Swartz Bay Terminal, North of Victoria.
By Ferry - From the USA:
Please make a reservation! I-5 through Bellingham, WA. Continue North through border crossing. Look for Tswwassen Ferry Exit on right hand side. Only a 20 minute drive from the border.
By Air
At the south terminal of Vancouver International Airport flights are available to Galiano via either SeaAir or Harbour Air.
