Jesse Keefer, Proprietor
A native of Vancouver, Jesse was a regular visitor to Galiano since he was a child. He purchased the Bodega Ridge property in 2005 and has been welcoming his own visitors ever since. Whether you are enjoying a quiet couples weekend or are part of a large event, Jesse will go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
Pssst! A competitive cyclist in a former life, Jesse earned medals in road and mountain biking at the Canadian National Championships. So in addition to his intimate knowledge of the island, he knows a thing or two about outdoor recreation. Ask for his recommendations on all things Galiano!
Getting Here
A World Away, Not Far AwayBodega Ridge is located on Galiano Island, just off the coast of British Columbia and Washington state. We're a short car/ferry ride from the mainland and surrounding islands.
By Ferry - From Vancouver and the Mainland:
From Seattle or Bellingham take the 1-5 North to Vancouver, BC.From Vancouver, take BC-99 South, then BC-17 South to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. You want the ferry to Sturdies Bay/Galiano.
It's a small boat, so be sure to reserve a spot for your car.

Depart on the Gulf Islands ferry from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, 30km south of Vancouver. If leaving from the City of Vancouver, please take into consideration the traffic through the Massey Tunnel.
By Ferry - Victoria and Vancouver Island
Depart on the Gulf Islands ferry from the Swartz Bay Terminal, North of Victoria.
From Port Angeles take the Black Ball Ferry Line to Victoria, BC.
From Victoria, take Highway 17 to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal. Follow signs to Gulf Island ferry. Vehicle reservations are not available, so we recommend that you get to the terminal early.
Floatplanes & Boat Access
Floatplanes make daily trips between Vancouver and Galiano's Montague Harbour. Visit Seair Seaplanes, Salt Spring Air or Harbour Air for information.

The marina at Montague Harbour offers moorage to private boaters. A public dock is located near the marina, as well as a gas dock and several small shops.
